Long Walk For Water
Brighter Horizons 5th Graders Embrace Global Goals Through Action
Our 5th grade students at Brighter Horizons have embarked on an inspiring journey to understand the U.N. Global Goals through their IB PYP exhibition. After exploring the powerful narrative of *The Long Walk to Water*, they are committed to addressing Goal #6: “Clean Water and Sanitation.” Their mission is to raise funds for a new water well to improve access to clean water.
To raise awareness and funds, students will participate in a water walk, recreating the hardships faced by the characters in the book and reflecting on the daily challenges encountered by many around the world.
This initiative is a key part of our community service projects at Brighter Horizons Academy IB World School. We are grateful for the ongoing support and generous donations from our community to help make this project a success.
