VALUES: We are committed to exemplary service, fostering trust, and upholding the highest ethics, while embracing diversity to enrich and empower the communities we serve.
Originating from Benin in West Africa, Balkissou and Dr. Bani Ningbinnin rose from challenging circumstances as orphans. Despite the hardships they faced, they turned their struggles into a powerful drive for education. Their personal journeys fueled a deep compassion for children in similar situations, inspiring their mission to give back and create opportunities for future generations to thrive.
Balkissou, born in Nikki, was orphaned at birth. To support her primary education, she sold small merchandise, showcasing incredible resilience and dedication. When financial hardships forced her to leave school, she devoted herself to fostering children in her village, offering them the care and support she once needed.
Dr. Bani, from Piami, lost his father at a young age. Undeterred, he walked over 10 miles a day barefoot to attend school, often learning on an empty stomach. His relentless determination and commitment to education led him to earn a doctorate in French literature and arts.
In 1989, Bani and Balkissou married and raised a family of four children. Throughout their lives, they have been devoted to supporting orphans, vulnerable children, and the elderly in their communities. Their experiences and profound empathy drive their mission to extend this support across West Africa, ensuring that future generations have the chance to prosper.
